It is the expectation that every member and visitor receive support and care. With the talents that God has given each of us, we strive to make a place of welcome and service for all.

Our Welcome Ministry is a comprehensive program, guide and support to navigating your way to the worship and ministry opportunities here at First Elon by Gathering, Growing, Giving and Going in the name of Jesus Christ.

Safe Sanctuaries

We are a Safe Sanctuaries-compliant church. All adults working with children/youth are safe sanctuaries trained and screened. Parents can safely leave their children in the care of our staff and volunteers without worry. Our children’s safety is monitored during each activity/worship.

Congregational Care and Bereavement Meals

We believe that our children, families, older adults and those grieving can be supported through prayer, food, and individual attention. Please help us minister to our home-bound. Contact the church office at (336) 584-5263 if you know of someone unable to attend worship services so that we may bring the love and encouragement of our FUMC family to them!

Stewardship

By the mercies of God, we present ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God. We pray for the Mission and Ministry of our church. We cheerfully give to the best of our abilities and operate from a place of abundance.
