Senior Adult Ministries (SAM)

Senior Adult Ministries (SAM) serves as a social and educational vehicle to enrich the lives of our adults over the age of 50. The SAM Planning Committee regularly meets to ensure presentations are both relevant and interesting. Below is a sampling of recent activities:

• “Making Sense of the Old Testament Prophets” lecture by Dr. Jim Pace
• Three day trip to Lancaster County, PA
• Informational Breakfast on prescription medications by Pharmacist Jack Watts
• Memorial Day, Veterans Day, Christmas and other holiday celebrations

SAM members also like to SERVE our church and community by providing a hot dog supper to those participating in Trunk or Treat, serving lunch/dinner for our VBS and ECC participants, making cards and crafts to be given to the elderly in nursing homes and visiting those who are no longer physically able to attend church services.
